Claire is a senior associate with Project Lawyers, specialising in planning and environment law. She acts for property developers, contractors, commercial tenants, building certifiers, businesses and property owners.

Her particular areas of expertise extend to all aspects of property development, including advising clients on environmental compliance, planning controls and policies, development contributions, etc. Claire regularly appears in the Land and Environment Court in merit appeals and challenges to conditions of consent. Claire has also been involved with a number of defended criminal prosecutions for environmental offences in the Local Court.

Claire also has extensive expertise in the area of resumption law, and regularly advises property owners, commercial tenants and business owners on the processes and procedures involved in the compulsory acquisition of property. That expertise extends to acting for clients in review proceedings commenced in the Land and Environment Court challenging the determination of the Valuer-General.
